Must Watch: Storm Chaser Films Himself Being Struck By Lightning
Scott Sheppard, a storm chaser from South Dakota, was struck directly by a bolt of lightning while filming video out of the window of his vehicle near the town of Fairburn.
The strike traveled through his arm before moving down to the ground and blowing a hole into the pavement. The lightning disabled his vehicle and another passing by car. Amazingly, Scott survived the deadly surge of electricity, complaining only of a sore arm but he is “otherwise OK.”
