A very chilly labrador was rescued from icy Michigan waters earlier this week when a Coast Guard officer spotted the pup run and fall into a frigid lake. Luckily, the dog went under where safety wasn't far off - a Coast Guard station was just next door.
Boatswain mate third class Tim Putnam swam over 650 feet into the lake, pushing his way through icy slush and past big blocks of ice.
