How do Trees Survive During the Winter Months?
As mentioned in the introduction of the MinuteEarth group, the trees weren't designed to have mechanisms to survive in the cold and in temperatures below freezing, but trees evolved two techniques in order to protect the trunk and leaves in difficult conditions.
