Loyal Dog Saves Family From (Mostly Harmless) Moose
When this Malamute dog saw a Moose coming a little too close to his owner, he lept into action, grabbing the Moose’s attention and not letting go. In reality, the Moose was probably not a real threat to the family, but as far as this dog was concerned, he was saving his pack from certain danger. Watch as he persistently leads the Moose in the opposite direction, luring him away to a safe distance.

That's a big benefit of having a big dog at your home because they can protect you. I miss these qualities in little dogs like teacup Pomeranian. I know they have their own qualities, but they can't protect you from these kind of dangers because their size is so small. They can only entertain you.
