No These Aren't Crop Circles, Wait Until You See What This Artist Does In The Snow.
Snow Drawings is an ongoing art project from Sonja Hidrichsen. As you might imagine from the name, Hidrichsen uses wide open landscapes and frozen lakes with fresh snow to create amazing, intricate snow drawings.
Hidrichsen created her first piece of snow art back in 2009 all on her own during an artist residency in Colorado. Since then her snow drawings have gotten bigger, and more ambitious. She now enlists the help of volunteers to help create the drawings. You've seriously got to see them.

These snow drawings were created at Carpenter Ranch in Northern Colorado. Some were made on the frozen Yampa River. Hinrichsen says she got very lucky with the weather for this piece as the drawing took a few days to complete.
