The Scale Of Nature: I Photographed People In The Alps To Show How Small We Are
My name is Jakub Polomski and I am a professional Polish photographer specializing in landscape and travel photography.
Although I love trekking in the mountains, I always respect nature. Some time ago I gathered a couple of my mountain shots from different locations to make a project called “The Scale of Nature”. I wanted to show how small and meaningless human being is in comparison to nature. I post-produced photographs in monochromatic conversion to get appropriate contrast. The pictures were taken in the Alps (France and Switzerland).
