A Man Was Running In The Middle Of A Hailstorm, And The Reason Why Is Awesome
Hail is nothing to scoff at. Any time ice is falling from the sky, you're better off just staying inside. Depending on the size of the hail, these storms can even be deadly.
In the middle of a recent hailstorm in Calgary, a man ran into the fray to rescue something in the street. No one understood why he'd risk getting pelted until they saw what he was doing.
As you can see, this storm was pretty serious.
But this man stepped into the relentless hail to help a creature in need.
He threw himself in harm's way to help a little pigeon that wouldn't have been able to escape the storm on its own.
What a lucky bird! If that man hadn't been there, who knows what would have happened to that poor, defenseless pigeon. It's always nice to see good people doing good deeds!
